BBL Launches Inaugural Adult 5v5 Basketball League

The Bulverde Basketball League is excited to announce the launch of its inaugural Adult 5v5 Basketball League this fall.

Whether you already have a squad ready to compete or you are looking to join a team as a free agent, the new adult league gives local players the opportunity to get back on the court, compete, and be part of the growing BBL community.

Registration

Registration will be open **July 15 through August 14**.

Players may register in one of two ways:

Team Registration

Team Captains may register their team and invite their players to complete their individual registrations.

Each team must have a minimum of 8 players and may carry a maximum of 12 players.

Free Agent Registration

Players who do not already have a team may register as a Free Agent. BBL will place Free Agents on teams based on available roster spots.

Season Schedule

The regular season will run from August 20 through September 17, with games played on Thursday evenings.

Regular-season game dates include:

August 20, August 27, September 3, September 10 and September 17

Each team is guaranteed a minimum of six games during the season.

Following the regular season, teams will compete in a single-elimination tournament on September 24 and October 1 to determine the league’s first champion.
