BBL Winter 2 Championship Day Set for February 28 — Largest Season in League History 🏀
Bulverde, TX – 2/20/2026 – The Bulverde Basketball League (BBL) is set for its biggest tournament yet as the Winter 2 season wraps up with Tournament Day on Saturday, February 28th. With record participation across all age groups, this season has been the largest in league history, and it all comes down to one electric day of single-elimination basketball.
From first-time Kindergarten hoopers to the experienced 7+ division athletes, every team will battle for their shot at a championship title.
“This is what they’ve been working toward all season,” said Kevin Butler. “You can see the growth in every division. The confidence. The teamwork. The competitiveness. February 28th is going to be special.”

Format: Single Elimination – Win and advance
Divisions & Brackets:
Brackets and tentative schedules are now live on the website (see links above). Game times are subject to final seeding. Once the regular season concludes and standings are official, teams will know exactly when they tip off.
Championship rings and runner-up awards will be presented following each division’s final game, celebrating the dedication and progress shown throughout the Winter 2 season.
Parents, families, and fans are encouraged to pack the gyms, bring the energy, and cheer loudly and positively for all athletes. Tournament Day is about competition, growth, and creating memories that these players will carry with them long after the final buzzer.

Spring 1 season registration is officially open and will close on February 27.
